Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Develop Business and make sales strategies
• Responsible for the performance and development of the account executives /Key Account Manager’s/Sales account managers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Recruits, tests and hires account executives based on criteria agreed upon by the senior management
• Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

Key Accountabilities
• Achieve sales targets for self (if any) and the team in order to ensure that the division targets are achieved.
• Report sales forecasts and business updates to the immediate supervisor in order to make sure that the senior sales team is fully informed and able to take timely business decisions especially with regards to the gap between actual and projected sales.
• Manage and coach sales staff in order to ensure high performance and motivation so as to achieve division targets
• Maintain relationships with clients by constantly being in touch with them in order to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.
• Coordinate with logistics and service department to ensure timely delivery and installation in line with the customer’s requirements
• Support the finance division in order to ensure healthy and timely collections (cash flow).
• Understanding the economic structure of an industry
• Identifying segments within a market; Identifying a target market
• Identifying the best customers in place
• Understanding competitors and their products
• Establishing environmental scanning mechanisms to detect opportunities and threats
• Coordinating the sales function with other parts of the promotional mix, such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and publicity
• Creating a sustainable competitive advantage
• Understanding where brands should be in the future, and providing an empirical basis to write marketing plans regularly to help get there

Requirements

• A seasoned sales executive with at least 8 years of experience.
• Of which at least 3-4 years in IT or related field sales.
• Should have a good understanding of Digital Printing Solutions.
• Education- A high caliber graduate / post graduate in IT or related discipline.
• Management degree will be added advantage
