Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: The purpose of this role is to manage sales activities through local Distributors in Middle East & Africa for Getinge Group Life Science products & services. Distributors are to be managed on a commercial level but basic support in project management, sales strategies and after sales services are also necessary.

Main responsibilities:
• To develop and support a Distributor network within the sales territory
• To execute direct sales to selected local and global Key Accounts
• To achieve annual/quarterly sales targets in the sales territory through channel management by implementing a marketing calendar and country action plan incl. well defined targets.
• To provide up-to-date sales information in the form of a monthly reports to GM
• To plan and communicate a sales strategy monthly and annually to GM
• To support the local Distributor in sales opportunities and development of new accounts
• To further develop and maintain a positive relationship with all Distributors and end-customers
• To contribute to the further development/implementation of systems that will enable the Distributor to be more efficient
• To undertake key account profiling and interact with global key account teams
• To monitor the market and the competitors
• To manage and maintain corporate CRM based tools
• To develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate customers
• To create and maintain a network with the KOL
• To create and maintain a healthy network within the Getinge group such as our global Life Science team, supply units and other central support functions.
• To help in preparing exhibitions supervised by the Getinge group.
• To visit and support Distributors in local exhibitions
• To respond to Distributor needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
• To support the company in implementing corporate strategy and processes to achieve our long-term strategic goals.

Reporting to: General Manager, Infection Control, MEA
Subordinates: Not applicable
Other interactions: all Internal department, customers, distributors, business units and any other third parties
Duration: Permanent position
Desired start date: ASAP
Probation: 6 months

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience in the field of medical devices or pharma equipment
• Minimum of 3-5 years in medical device/capital sales experience to the Life Science industries
• Experience in developing project based sales
• Work experience in a project management role.
• English and French fluent
• Knowledge of regulations and procedure governing the sales of equipment to Life Science customers in the pharmaceutical production, research and laboratory spaces
• To be computer literate in (Pack office) +CRM


Other Requirements of the Job:
• Full valid driving license
• The job is associated with approximately 100 travel days per year

Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm
Travel requirements: frequent travel within MEA
Gross monthly base salary: To be discussed ...
Commission / Bonus: 25% of the annual basic salary per year on the achievement of 100% agreed objectives
