The successful candidate will set up the company sales strategy (on air and online) to maximize sales, and will understand and maximizes sales and productivity. Core accountabilities include managing product mix, inventory, productivity & margin to drive sales. The Sales manager will work with internal teams to improve the business and maximize sales opportunities

The core responsibilities of the role will include the ability to strategize items to maximize selling exposures (on air and online), identify promotional opportunities & events, plan and implement new customer acquisition strategy and plan and implement sales and customer retention and development program. Additionally, you will analyse & evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs & its results.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales team to analyse show / item performance and recommend/initiate next actions and identify and supervise reorders whilst recapping the sales of every major event and make recommendations for future enhancements. Equally, you will price product, manage markdowns, manage category margin to assigned goal and expedite return-to-vendor (RTV).

You will manage the overall inventory level to assigned goal and attend and actively participate in buying meetings to review items and strategies. Making recommendations for future direction, you will partner with cross functional team members to execute strategies.

Reporting to the CEO you will provide creative/innovative solutions to problems. You will have a good knowledge of product categories and markets and will manage items and/or opportunities to meet or exceed the expectations of the external customer.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ recent business experience in a related sales management function in the retail industry in the GCC (preference of Saudi Arabia), a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience, preferably in a retail environment and excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

You will have excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. With an ability to make decisions to achieve desired results, you will also be able to quickly analyse data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business whilst being able to concentrate for long periods of time. Additionally, you will have the ability to comprehend and apply complex information and have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
