Our client is a vibrant and innovative water technology company with a singular focus on helping to solve the world's most pressing water challenges. They are a world leader in water technology, providing equipment and services for water and wastewater applications with a broad portfolio of products and services that address the full cycle of water.

They are currently looking for a Sales & Operations Planning Specialist for their team. You will be Responsible for:
- Coordination of the S&OP process including internal liaison and data preparation
- Development and analysis of supply chain related KPIs
- Acting as an interface between the Operations Department and the Product Marketing & Applications Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Director of Operations with development, implementation and execution of the Planning strategy and execution within MENA region.
- Ensure integrated supply chain optimization through supporting and coordinating the S&OP processes and meetings to ensure supply chain processes are in harmonization and meeting customer needs. Ensure that consensus demand forecast and production plans are prepared.
- Facilitate seasonality/inventory/capacity planning of finished goods across supply chain units and functions (manufacturing plants, DC’s, GC/Marketing).
- Manage supply chain planning issues (shortages, surpluses) on tactical and operational level cross functions/units.
- Oversee all New Product Introductions from a planning perspective, in close collaboration with DC’s, Master Planning and Project Managers.
- Be the focal point for all units in terms of support and training on the S&OP process and tools.
- Ensure development of planning policies and procedures in cooperation with DC’s, Manufacturing plants and Sales Units.
- Develops and manages the S&OP process for Xylem acting as an interface primarily between Operations and the Product Marketing functions to ensure a strong supply chain strategy is in place for all Company product, spares and accessories.
- Contributes to the development of established inventory policy and procedures for the Company.
- Subject matter expert for analysis and reporting of supply chain metrics using relevant business systems. With these reports and analysis to be framed for successful communication with the relevant target audience such as Finance or Branch staff.
- Collaborates with the Sourcing and Logistics teams around sourcing strategy for the third party value add equipment that are supplied to customers.
- Analyses and manages short term capacity to minimise associated costs and ensure the business maintains its service goals.
- Proactively identifies and communicates significant supply and market trends.

Requirements

- Engineering, supply chain and/or a financial degree.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Demand and Supply Planning across functional areas in a multinational company.
- Excellent English skills
- Capability of translating customer needs, market potentials into logistic and planning requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing and six sigma tools.
- Excellent analytical skills.
