Job description / Role
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales, building long-term relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities within the shipping and logistics sector. You will leverage your experience, industry knowledge, and existing client base to meet sales targets and grow the company’s market presence in Dubai and the broader UAE region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential clients within the shipping and logistics industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by offering tailored shipping and logistics solutions to clients.
• Promote the company’s services, including freight forwarding, logistics management, and supply chain solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, solving problems, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and reports to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
• Proven track record of sales success, including experience in managing and growing a client portfolio.
• Existing client base within the shipping and logistics sector is a must.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, logistics operations, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Age not exceeding 40 years.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
