Job description / Role

About the role:

A global data provider is looking for a Sales Specialist to cover the Middle East and Africa area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the sales strategy for Pricing and Reference proposition across MEA.
* Provide insights and share the company thought leadership on Pricing & Reference proposition with customers.
* Deliver customer demonstrations on Pricing & Reference propositions.
* Identify and generate sales to existing and new customers through the deployment of a consultative sales process.
* Strong ability to collaborate with internal operational and account management teams.
* Act as an advocate for customer needs to the business.


Key Requirements:

* More than 5 years of selling experience in B2B consultative selling within the Financial industry.
* Must have deep workflow knowledge of & experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Research, Compliance, Back office, Funds, Reporting etc.
* Demonstrate great understanding of using pricing, reference data and time series events for investment decision making for buy side and sell side market players.
* Abreast with industry trends around Financial markets, instruments and related policies.
