Job description / Role
Charterhouse is undertaking a search for an International Building Materials company, which specialises in the manufacturing of MEP water solutions, for the commercial and industrial market. The company is headquartered in the United States, and has offices internationally.
The Sales Support & Operations Associate will be part of the Dubai based satellite office, working as part of a smaller team, supporting back-end customer support with a key focus on order management and delivery.
This role will work closely with customers, international shipping teams in the US, freight forwarders and ME sales team to provide support on order management, such as order status, dispatches (ETD’s/ETA’s) and deliveries.
In addition, this role will require you to liaise with freight forwarders, internal and external customers, to resolve order related issues and respond to unique needs, to deliver cost-effective solutions. Simultaneously, the role will act as a single point of contact for international customers, offering solutions in reference to the order management.
In conjunction, you will communicate with the business units in the US for order fulfilments, shipping documentation and timely delivery. This role will require management of pricing lists in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, whilst updating internal and external contacts on outstanding orders.
The client will look to recruit a customer support and/or sales support professional, who is able to demonstrate a sustained track record, for a regional or international Building Materials, MEP or Manufacturing company within a similar position.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of working on ERP systems and have an understanding of the MEP industry. The candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an active professional membership (CIPS, CSCMP, SCLAA).
Candidates on the ground in the UAE or with relevant GCC experience will be considered as a priority.
