Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of our international clients within the Oil and Gas services sector. Our client is a listed entity and is looking to hire a Sales Team Leader to be based in their office in Ajman, UAE.
The Sales Team Leader will drive sales, using prior technical knowledge of rigging and lifting to promote products and offering solutions to clients in the Oil and Gas sector. You will manage a sales team which will involve recruiting, supporting and coaching your staff to ensure that they are motivated to meet expected targets. The Sales Team Leader will design and implement a strategic business plan in order to increase the client base for the company. You will manage and nurture client relationships by understanding their needs to secure long-lasting partnerships. You will also chase unpaid invoices, provide forecasts as well as regular sales and revenue reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a strong background in the lifting, marine, inspection and/or oil & gas industry, ideally with rigging and lifting. Experience in securing sales, tenders, contracts and conducting business development is also a requirement. You should be approachable and supportive, ideally with team management experience. The successful candidate should be skilled in calculating financial business cases and creating projections of revenue/profit.
