Job description / Role
NTS Group are working with the leading, award winning health/beauty company in the Middle East on a number of exciting and rewarding roles. Our client are seeking a Salon Director, to be based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing and managing the in-salon experience of all customers. The position will be focused on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the revenue performance of the location.
The role will involve managing a busy, leading and highly successful salon and will typically be focused on driving salon revenues, ensuring that the customer journey is followed with every client, as per Standard Operating Procedures, driving salon retention of new and repeat customers; guide, coach and work with stylists with low client retention, supporting the team of stylists to develop their skills, troubleshoot incidents/service complaints, and generally help them manage the individual customer journey, manage consumable costs in the salon, conduct daily briefings with stylists, ensuring teams upsell retail products effectively, building up own column of clients and attend to VIP clients/complaint escalations/treatment failures and continuously develop your own technical skills and industry knowledge, through trainings and self-learning. In addition, you will manage the day to day performance and motivation of stylists and assistants, the delivery of products and services to all clients and effectively resolve client technical complaints, and ensure appropriate coaching/training action is taken to prevent similar complaints reoccurring.
Requirements
To be successful, you will hold a suitable Hairdressing qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or similar preferred) and have a minimum of 5 years of management, sales and practical hairdressing experience. You will have excellent verbal English skills and be used to working in a busy and demanding salon. You will be comfortable managing and leading large teams and committed to delivering results.
