SAP I&D Architect

Job description / Role

The SAP I&D Architect, based in Dubai, will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex SAP integration and development projects. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technologies, integration methodologies, and development practices to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.

• Skills needed for data engineering include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes, understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling, familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, expertise in cloud platforms such (Azure).
• Ability to ensure data quality and governance, proficiency in data visualisation tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, knowledge of version control and DevOps practices.
• Handle large datasets & Build efficient data pipelines.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of data for analysis and decision-making.
• Specific experience with extraction of data from SAP, especially EHS module
