SAP MDG Support (Finance + Retail)

Job description / Role

Providing advanced support for SAP MDG modules in Finance and Retail domains, this role focuses on managing master data quality, governance, and issue resolution with collaboration across teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.

SAP MDG Support & Data Management
Deliver L2/L3 support for SAP MDG modules covering Finance and Retail master data objects such as vendor, customer, and material
Manage master data quality, governance workflows, and issue resolution across domains while supporting data modeling, replication, and validation processes

Collaboration & Technical Expertise
• Work closely with ATG’s SAP CoE and AMS teams to maintain data integrity and compliance; handle WRICEF objects including interfaces, enhancements, and workflows
• Participate in problem management, root cause analysis documentation, and SLA compliance; contribute to service enhancements and maintain documentation with tools like EnableNow and Signavio

Skills & Qualifications

• Require 6–9 years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP MDG, strong understanding of Finance and Retail master data, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and CALM tools
• Hands-on experience in workflow design, data replication, and validation; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ITIL v4 or equivalent certification preferred.

• Support data modeling, replication, and validation processes in SAP MDG.
• Handle WRICEF objects related to MDG (interfaces, enhancements, workflows).
• Participate in problem management, RCA documentation, and SLA compliance.
• Contribute to service enhancement requests, including minor changes and optimizations.
• Ensure alignment with ATG’s governance and reporting frameworks.
• Maintain documentation and training materials using tools like EnableNow and Signavio.
• 6–9 years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP MDG.
• Strong understanding of MDG for Finance and Retail master data (e.g., vendor, customer, material).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and CALM tools.
• Hands-on experience in workflow design, data replication, and data validation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ITIL v4 or equivalent service management certification preferred.
