As SAP Advisory Senior Manager, you'll display a very high level of competency in business development and/or technical knowledge, as well as a good understanding of internal operations. You'll also have strong client delivery and engagement management experience. As a trusted advisor, you'll identify and develop client and market growth opportunities and use your key subject matter knowledge to develop thought leadership for clients.

Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll facilitate resolution of conflicts and politically sensitive issues internally and with client teams. As a valued leader, you'll create and direct high-performing teams across EY, improve learning opportunities for others and create and deliver cross-practice team learning events. As a role model for quality & risk management, you'll confirm that all client work is delivered to a high standard of quality in accordance with EY’s Q&RM guidelines.

EY is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Manager to join the IT Enablement Team within its Advisory service line.

Client responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of SAP Solutions to enhance the clients business functionality and overall performance,
- Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Lead the business analysis process and provide product and implementation expertise to clients in how best to implement and use the system, identify scope gaps, advise on workaround solutions when applicable.
- Lead Functional Stream. Implement end to end solution
- Ensures the customer’s application and system requirements are identified, analyzed and documented.
- Optimize Finance Business Processes and help customers to adopt Best Practices Support in detailed project planning activities
- Communicate on project progress to customer and engagement manager
- Manage customer challenges and escalations in a proactive and structured manner
- Develop own professional learning of SAP products/technologies and solutions.
- Enable, mentor and coach fellow colleagues of new SAP technologies,
- Improve consulting skills; improve application and implementation expertise in the product and industry.
- Support pursuit management activities, participate in proposals preparation
- Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization
- Lead SAP Advisory Services engagements in various industries
- Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with clients, EY teams and other parties
- Communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates-to-complete to clients
- Leverage client relationships to drive new business opportunities
- Understand Ernst & Young's full service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
- Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization
- Develop your personal profile in the marketplace
- Develop awareness of EY offerings in the marketplace
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors
- Manage risk of delivery on client engagements
- Manage all financial aspects of client engagements
- Act as an ambassador for EY in the market and with clients

Requirements

People responsibilities
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
- Drive people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training IT Advisory Services professionals
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of all levels of staff
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures and communicate these to all levels of staff
- Act as a leader of the business and as a role model for staff

Technical skills requirements
- 5-7 years as SAP Finance Consultant
- 1 year on SAP Simple finance/ S/4HANA
- Broad application skills
- Extensive knowledge in more than one of the following areas: Financial accounting and closing operations, cost management, profitability analysis, New General Ledger, Migration to simple finance
- Strong knowledge in ASAP / implementation methodologies
- Capability of presenting the value proposition in the module / area,
- Profound understanding of Digital Transformation and its impact on XX strategies
- Very good problem solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and presentation skills
- 50-75% Travel based on project need

Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in business development
- Approximately 10 to 15 years of total experience and SAP Implementation experience
- A minimum 5 years experience in Successfully implementing SAP ECC Solutions as a lead consultant covering technical assessments, solution design, testing and deployment.
- At least 1 year experience in implementing S/4 HANA and/or migration to S/4HANA
- Management Consulting Experience in Business and IT Strategy and Governance, Value Management, Business Process Management, Center of Excellence
- Strong knowledge in business processes and practices
- Good Industry knowledge
- Demonstrated track record managing teams and complex engagements in the consulting arena
- Should have worked on SAP support
- Show initiative and creativity in developing innovative work-around solutions or new processes.
- Strong academic record including a degree
- Project Management and Quality Assurance of SAP
- Bilinguals preferred
