Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client which is a globally leading MNC , we are looking for the below detailed requirement. This is a contract role for one year, with possibility of extension based on performance.

The System Specialist / Super User will be responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of procurement and inventory systems. This position is responsible for overseeing of incoming procurement related support requests. The position involves a complete understanding and expertise of procurement platforms and technology resources (SAP, Procurement, BI, SRM, GRC, Incident Management). Requires the ability to identify problems, continually look for service improvement opportunities, and handle escalated issues that involves senior level support. Also, assist with a variety of team projects and initiatives assigned by Management and/or Product Managers.

- Advanced knowledge of system functionalities
- Provides Level I support for our procurement systems
- Maintain and analyze departmental data to identify trends and patterns; notify management or suggest corrective actions
- Drives process improvements for procurement related applications
- Contribute documentation to the current Knowledge Base/Job Aids
- Support, provides guidance, and educates department teammates on current processes and procedures, as well as on-going changes.
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Provide local Helpdesk Teammates with Senior Level support
- Support the implementation and deployment of new department procedures
- Backup for catalog changes and user acceptance testing in our procurement systems
- Assist with a variety of purchasing team projects and tasks as assigned.
- Good knowledge on procurement compliance
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues related to purchase orders, SRM approval workflows, Goods receipts etc.
- Good knowledge on procurement compliance.
- User Access Administration through SAP GRC
- Support teams on SAP MDM for vendor master data management – first level support.

Requirements

- Expert knowledge in Transaction codes; ME22N, ME23N, ME2L, ME2N, ME80FN, MIGO, FBL1N, FBL3N and other procurement related transaction codes in SAP.
- Technical understanding of SAP Tables including Z Tables.
- Expert like knowledge of Data Flow between SAP SRM, SAP ECC 6.0 and Non-SAP systems.
- Candidate will be liaising between IT and business users, hence technical skills are a mandatory requirement.
- Understanding the concept of Tcodes and Roles through SUIM/SU53 would be good to have.
- Assertiveness and excellent communication skills
- Multitasker
