SAP Technical Architect

Job description / Role

Highly experienced SAP technical architect role focused on defining and governing technical architecture across ATG’s SAP RISE landscape with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, SAC, Ariba, and retail solutions.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Lead integration strategy and oversee application lifecycle management, performance optimization, and scalability of SAP solutions
• Ensure compliance with governance, security frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and quality standards within ATG
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, patching, release management, and support disaster recovery and risk assessments

Expertise & Collaboration

• Requires 12–16 years of SAP experience with strong skills in SAP Basis coordination, multi-cloud architecture, and RISE with SAP deployment models
• Collaborate with business and AMS teams for solution design, impact analysis, and continuous improvement using automation and AI-based solutions
• Maintain enterprise architecture repository with SAP LeanIX and align with ATG’s roadmap, leveraging knowledge in SAP Datasphere, SAC, and identity governance
• Preferred certifications include ITIL v4 and TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture credentials

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and govern SAP technical architecture across ATG’s SAP RISE landscape.
• Lead integration strategy for SAP S/4HANA, BTP, SAC, Ariba, and Retail solutions.
• Oversee application lifecycle management, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with ATG’s governance, security, and quality frameworks.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement leveraging automation and AI-based solutions.
• Collaborate with business and AMS teams for solution design, impact analysis, and enhancements.
• Maintain enterprise architecture repository using SAP LeanIX and ensure alignment with ATG’s roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, patching, and release management.
• Support disaster recovery planning, risk assessments, and performance diagnostics.
• 12–16 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP technical architecture.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), and SAP LeanIX.
• Experience in multi-cloud architecture and RISE with SAP deployment models.
• Strong understanding of SAP CALM, security frameworks, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Proficiency in SAP Basis coordination, performance tuning, and integration design.
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAC, and identity governance solutions.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• ITIL v4 and enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF or equivalent) preferred.
