Scaffolding Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are hiring a Scaffolding Supervisor on behalf of a globally renowned contractor company for a major oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidates will have minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding operations, with experience managing scaffolding activities in large-scale projects. ADNOC-approved Scaffolding Supervisor certification (e.g., CISRS certification) is required. Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement daily and emergency scaffolding work plans, ensuring compliance with project schedules and safety standards.
• Supervision of Operations: Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and industry standards.
• Safety Compliance: Conduct inspections and certify scaffolding structures to ensure they meet ADNOC safety regulations and operational requirements.
• Team Management: Lead and manage the scaffolding team, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols and complete tasks efficiently.
• Material Control: Maintain scaffolding material inventory records, oversee material delivery and removal to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on workforce/material allocation, costs, construction quality, safety performance, and productivity.
• Contractual Involvement: Participate in scaffolding contract preparations, including material lists and technical specifications.

Education & Certification:
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• ADNOC-approved Scaffolding Supervisor certification (e.g., CISRS certification).

Work Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scaffolding operations, with experience managing scaffolding activities in large-scale projects.
• Previous experience working on ADNOC-related projects is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and scaffolding techniques, leadership and team motivation skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
