SRI School Counsellors play a key role in embedding well-being, personal development, and career guidance into the curriculum from FS1 to Year 13, ensuring students receive continuous support as part of their learning journey. While fully integrated within subject areas and pastoral programs, counselling services are also structured to provide individualized care, addressing students' academic, emotional, and social needs at every stage. Through collaboration with teachers, school leadership, and external partners, SRI Counsellors ensure that students are equipped with the resilience, self-awareness, and future-ready skills needed for lifelong success.

Skills

Person specifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in counselling, with a focus on working with young people and children in a school environment. A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Have a minimum of four years' counselling experience in an international school, covering all school stages (ages 3-18).
• Proven track record of enhancing counselling and well-being services for students.
• Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice.
• Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective and solution focused.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career.
• Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.
