Organizational Description

OliOli® creates experiences that enable creative, open-ended, curious and non-judgmental play for children aged 2-12. OliOli consists of 8 galleries (each containing interactive, hands-on, open-ended, thought-provoking activities.)

Each gallery has been designed to create experiences where children can:
• Use their hands to become better problem solvers
• Feel emotionally safe (through no judgment) and are able to take risks in ‘low stakes’ environment to understand the consequences of their choices/actions
• Use technology in a responsible, measured and augmentative manner
• Gain fascination with STEAM curricula and concepts in a holistic, informal manner
• Develop their self-regulation and emotional intelligence

Embedded in the community it serves, OliOli® seeks to be a hub for issues relevant to all parents and be a rejuvenating destination for parents.

Position Overview

The School Relationships & Sales Manager will be responsible for (a) developing and managing relationships with primary schools, nurseries, and other educational groups/establishments in the UAE and (b) driving visitation to OliOli® through selling its educational offerings to these institutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Understanding the landscape
• Build and keep updated a CRM for all the schools (private and public), nurseries, and other community organizations in Dubai
• Develop a granular understanding and database of all the key competitors within this space – and their offering
• Identify and establish relationships with all the key tour operators that can be a source of large field trip volumes
• Based on extensive discussions with educators and other stakeholders, identify the gaps, pain-points for teachers, and constraints in the markets that OliOli® field trips can solve

Build a strong and deep professional relationship between OliOli® and the educational institutions
• Establish strong professional and institutional relationships with the relevant colleagues at target institutions
• Understand the schools’ community efforts and support those
• Host the schools and educators at OliOli® as appropriate
• Leverage the OliOli® outreach abilities to deepen the relationship with the educational institutions

Drive field trip visitation to OliOli®
• Be a positive ambassador for the OliOli® brand
• Call/visit each institution (meeting relevant people) – with the objective of introducing OliOli® and its field trip offerings/programs to them
• Respond to inward enquiries in a timely manner and ensure those are converted
• Ensure visitation and sales target are met

Process management
• Manage the scheduling for the school bookings in as perfect and optimal a manner as possible
• Communication/work with the different teams at OliOli® to ensure that the schools’ field trip objectives are achieved
• Ensure 100% field trip satisfaction; actively seek and collect feedback from teachers and communicate that to the team

Other
• Contribute to a positive, team-based, and “guest-first” centric culture
• Perform other duties and be involved in projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of our objectives

Requirements

Qualifications
• Experience in business development/sales within the schooling industry is a must (preferably in relation to schools/nurseries)
• Ability to work within a highly diverse environment
• Excellent grasp of the English language. Arabic is a plus
