Science Tutor (With Business Development and Marketing Function)

Job description / Role

We are hiring for a well-known educational consultancy based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for a Science Tutor with Business Development and Marketing Function with a good educational background of the British curriculum/ IGCSE. In this position, the ideal candidate will have experience in tutoring and teaching fields of Science (Chemistry, Physics or Biology) with good and engaging personality. The candidate should be able to work and develop in his/her work in three dimensions, Knowledge of various social media channels and content creation. Also, should be able to manage different client presentations, business strategies, client interactions, contract negotiations etc. Also has good communication skills with people, relations with teams, clients, and colleagues.

Other responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:
* Tutor at least 2 of the following subjects to IB or A level: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics
* Be involved in creating short videos for our Social Media platforms
* Participate in exciting projects ranging from summer and winter camps to virtual reality.
* Create business plans and proposals for various projects when these arise.
* Work in multiple areas of the business.
* Meet our tutoring KPIs and expectations.

Requirements

For you to be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
* Ideally the candidate would be UK educated.
* Needs a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field to the above-mentioned subjects.
* Willing to work in Abu Dhabi.
* Be enthusiastic about their subjects, dynamic and proactive.
* Teaching experience in a school is not required (but will be preferred)
