Requirements

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a qualified art teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE).
  • Teach fine art, photography and graphics at GCSE and A Level.
  • Have confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results teaching this subject to GCSE and A Level, using the Edexcel specification.
  • Have a full working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices.
  • Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
  • Be available to join Jebel Ali School in August 2026.
