Requirements

The successful applicant will:

• Be a qualified Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Business/Economics teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE)
• For this specific role, be confident with a proven track record of outstanding results, teaching this subject to BTEC and A Level using the Edexcel specification
• Have knowledge of the curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices
• Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development
• Be available to join Jebel Ali School in August 2026
