Employment: Full Time

Section Head – Financial Accounting (Abu Dhabi)

• Prepare the executive plan for the section and follow up its implementation in line with the company’s strategic plan.
• Supervise the tasks assigned to the section members and make sure that it’s implemented accurately and in time.
• Propose the section budget and discussed it with the finance Director.
• Monitor the section members performance and report any needed training to enhance the people performance.
• Ensure the documentation of the section policies and procedures and make sure its applied.
• Define the resources needed for the section to perform properly including human resources and technical resources.
• Supervise all activities related to G/L, A/R, A/P, F/A according to IFRS and company’s policies & procedures.
• Ensure that all accounting entries has the proper supporting documents as required by law and company procedures.
• Coordinate with HR department the monthly payroll.
• Perform the periodic count over inventory and assets as per company policy.
• Run the payment proposals and ensure timely payment for vendors.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Month end reconciliation and confirmation with vendors, customers and intercompany accounts.
• Coordinate with purchasing contracts and procurements sections the timely application of the financial parts.
• Complete the monthly KPIs reporting.

Requirements

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree as minimum, professional accounting qualification is preferred
• Arabic language is highly preferred
• 9 - 11 years of experience within Financial Accounting function
• Solid experience within cost accounting of service based projects
• ERP - Microsoft AX is a must have
• Solid exposure to IFRS reporting and VAT knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
