Employment: Full Time

Section Head of Sales - Insurance - AED 25-30K

• Support in the development and implementations of department strategy according to the company strategy, responsible in setting section’s operational goals, initiate measures and have accountability in reaching these goals to improve the overall unit’s performance
• Support the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against departmental goals
• Responsible for a result-oriented management and development of people and resources, including provision of a strong day-to-day leadership presence involving resource allocation, monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular staff meetings
• Manage the section’s expenditure and requirements, keeping in mind its impact and utilisation on the financial budget
• Foster organisational culture by establishing quality awareness and service orientation and complying and implementing processes such as Project Management and Change Management
• Develop, implement and ensure adherence of policies and procedures

Department Specific:
• Manage portfolio and contribute in enhancing product portfolio using experience and market information
• Build positive relationships with brokers and large employer groups in the market
• Lead internal and external sales related projects
• Manage business risks arising from changes in regulation
• Handle signing authority for Underwriting discounts as per authority matrix and for other procedural documents for the channel

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of sales experience with proven track record; minimum 3 years of which should be in a managing or supervisory position
• Experience in insurance or insurance concepts in general is a must
• CII qualification is an advantage
• LOMA certification is an advantage
• Ideally Bachelor degree in business administration or any related field or equivalent relevant experience
• Masters degree is a plus
