Employment: Full Time

As the Section Manager - General Services, you will be responsible to drive the growth of the general services function by managing the overall strategic planning and development activities - whilst ensuring that all operational activities are ran smoothly and efficiently.

Description

* Develop the department's structure to ensure different business needs and requirements are met.
* Prepare and recommend the budget by conducting analysis and preparing data to support the budget.
* Develop the department strategy and ensure the implementation of strategy to achieve the organisations objectives.
* Monitor the financial performance of the department against budgets to ensure that unsatisfactory performance is identified.
* Lead the general services (administration, procurement, security and safety) function across the organisation to ensure effective provision of services.
* Ensure the establishment of relationships with a network of vendors to guarantee the services and products provided to the users meet the highest quality standards.
* Plan, develop and implement PR strategies for the organisation.
* Oversee the implementation and compliance of the documentation control process and a health and safety program by liaising with the relevant teams.
* Ensure the implementation of various information security practices and standards to ensure compliance with relevant policies.

Requirements

* Must be UAE National (family book) due to the nature of this role.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
* 8-10 years of experience in managing a general services team at a large organisation.
* At least 4 years of experience of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
* Deep experience in strategy development and implementation - at an internal organisation level.
* Articulate with excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
