Security Architect

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Security Architect to join a dynamic team here in Dubai. The primary role will be to assist Cyber Security governance team in the development and maintenance of new corporate Cyber Security standards. You will need to able to analyze and understand potential impacts of competing technologies, assessing their strategic significance, defining their strategic role and scope, roadmap, relationship to existing standards, and periodically reviewing our entire IT estate in the context of those security standards.

Requirements

Applications are sought from those with the following experience;

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a hands-on Architect
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent IT related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Preferably higher level business-related qualification, such as MBA
• Certification in GIAC, CISSP-ISSAP (Information System Security Architecture Professional)
• Thorough understanding of Information Security specifications including ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
• Understanding of capability frameworks such as CMMI.
• Understanding of TOGAF, IASA, Zachman and other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Understanding of industry standard development methods (e.g. RUP, SCRUM)
• Understanding of ITIL Framework.
• Exposure to a number of international markets and multinational teams
• Excellent English language skills
• Understanding of solution technologies such as Java/JEE/Oracle/BI/DW/ERP
• Understanding of Architecture Methods, Principles and Patters (OOAD, GoF,SOA etc.).
• Understanding of Architecture and Design artifacts (Archimate, UML models etc.
• Understanding of Open Source Frameworks ( Apache, Spring etc.)
• Understanding of architecture capabilities (Rules, Workflows, Security etc.)
