Your role as a Manager in Security, will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. In this role, you will develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service

The Business Continuity (BC) Manager is responsible for ensuring that the BC Management System and Program is developed, implemented and continually improved. The BC Manager reports to the Information Security Steering Committee regarding the overall maturity and improvement of the BCM Program.

During your tenure as a Manager in Security, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

Develop the BCM Program by:

- Ensuring that the BCM Program is aligned to the vision and objectives of DME
- Ensuring that all Program components have been developed considering the business and operations.

Implement the BCM Program by:

- Following up with relevant service areas / personnel to ensure that all action items / tasks that need to be executed (as a prerequisite for the Program to function) are actually completed. Also identify any new implementation requirements that may emerge and track them to completion;
- Facilitating trainings and exercises related to the different BCM Program elements to ensure that all relevant personnel are aware of their respective BCM roles and responsibilities and that corresponding BCM components are sufficiently rehearsed.
- Ensure continual improvement of the BCM Program by
- Providing support to BCM Team members during BIA activities
- Consolidating continuity requirements of process enablers (e.g. building, facilities, human resources, third-party suppliers, equipment, and technology) from the updated BIA data obtained from Functional Practices and Enabling Areas;
- Maintaining and updating the BCM strategy, recovery options and arrangements as and when required;
- Coordinating maintenance of the Business Continuity Plans with respective Plan Owners and BCMS Team members;
- Determining the required competencies of all personnel tasked with BCM-related roles and responsibilities and ensuring that such personnel receive adequate training.

Soft skills and competencies

- Strong working knowledge of Business Continuity program requirements and components, and Understanding of business continuity standards (i.e. ISO 22301);
- Organization business process understanding;
- Good understanding of key contacts and plan owners within the organization;
- Ability to lead, facilitate and influence others;
- Ability to analyze information based on overall firm strategy and perform cost benefit analysis to make unbiased recommendations;
- Interpersonal skills - Strong verbal and written communications skills;
- Business and financial judgment, and problem-solving skills;
- Strong Management skills, organized and motivated;
- Strong understanding of business processes activities and the firm's strategy.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:

- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.3)
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
- Ability to work as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
- ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor
- 4+ years BCMS management experience.
