Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the security of SCI activities
• Maintain a complete understanding of the technology, operational and/or Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities to enable the programs and ensure the program's compliance with applicable security standards
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SCI security requirements as outlined in Intelligence Community Directives and applicable government regulation; write security plans and procedures to meet Activities requirements
• Use a high level of initiative and innovation in identifying and resolving problems
• Anticipate activity issues and resolve in a secure manner
• Assist with writing, interpreting, applying and complying with Security Classification Guides
• Ensure that the SCI infrastructure, e.g. networks, systems, facilities required by selected program(s) is appropriate for the RDT&E being performed; ensure information systems and networks comply with contract requirements by working with the assigned Information Assurance Officer (IAO)
• Assist the IAO with executing Information Assurance (IA) duties
• Ensure appropriate accreditations are in place for facilities and systems, to include co-use, joint-use agreements and Memorandums of Understanding/Memorandums of Agreement (MOUs/MOAs)
• Conduct, manage, and coordinate SCI personnel, information, physical and technical security actions and procedures according to applicable security practices and manuals
• Assist the Special Security Representative (SSR) in annual self-inspections
• Perform courier coordination/duties
• Lead or assist with classified meeting preparation and execution
• Support the planning and execution of security education programs (80%)
• Have a basic understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management cycle, using processes as outlined in Army Regulation 70-77, Defense Acquisition Guide Chapter 13 to achieve Trusted Networks IAW DoDi 5200.44
• Conduct research and provide recommendations on supply chain and acquisition risk management tools to analyze and report risks
• Conduct analysis to ensure compliance with supply chain risk management procedures and protocols
• Advice programs on documenting SCRM process results to properly populate the program protection plan (PPP), flow down to industry partners, and address additional product requirements (10%)
• Be able to foresee security requirements, tasks, and planning to meet activity needs and be able to execute actions to resolve those security issues in a manner that does not effects Activity schedule or operations (10%)

Requirements

Required Skills:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Security Management, Information Systems Security or similar degree
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Direct experience working as a SSR, Contractor Program Security Officer, or Facilities Security Officer
• Three or more years of experience in SCI or compartmented program support to include at least two years of professional- level experience
• Basic understanding in SCRM and PP
• Strong customer service capabilities
• Experience working with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Army security directives
• Direct experience with database functions, including Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
• Understanding of IA systems, networks, and accreditations of such
• Proven ability to multi-task efforts without sacrificing quality work products
• Evidence of strong writing, organizational skills and follow-through
• Able to interact professionally with staff at all levels
• Proven track record of successfully solving problems given short deadlines
• Required TDY: 30%
