Security Supervisor

What you will be doing:

- Fully responsible and supervise all the security staff in his shift.
- Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees and property premises
- Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
- Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Training internal fire life and safety of all colleagues
- Coordinates the Hotel's emergency procedures and act as the Hotel's emergency response Team coordinator as well as training.
- Keep the management informed at all times on matters pertaining to security measures.
- Conduct regular and irregular inspections of the hotel property in order to ensure that the safety of the guests, staff, and hotel physical plant are not being compromised by potentially dangerous situations.
- Receive and follow on the patrolling printout sheet and report the observations/discrepancies to the concerned department for rectification
- Identifies training needs and develops formal training plans, implements training sessions.
- Responsible for all the security operations.
- Plans and schedules the day to day activities of all security personnel to ensure that the entire hotel areas are properly and adequately secured at all times.
- Interact and cooperate with all departments of the hotel, especially duty managers.
- In charge of security departments when the Asst. security manager is on off Days or leave.
- Prepares daily Security reports and address it to Asst Security Manager,
- Help and cooperate with Government agencies, Police CIDs, Civil Deference etc. as per their requirements.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Relevant security experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- T raining in Fire Fighting, First Aid and Life Saving drills from a certified institution
- Are detail oriented and hands on.
- Have immaculate personal presentation e.g. grooming and conversational ability.
- Uphold ethical business practices.
- Should be physically fit with no disability and should be able to move around tirelessly to various corners of the hotel and reach to the scene of incident immediately.
- Should be quick at the uptake, grasp a situation and be able initiate appropriate action
