Job description / Role
G4S is currently looking for an experienced Security Team Leader for Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will take responsibility for all Security Officer to effectively manage the security operations. He will support and assist the Operations Manager to achieve operational objectives, resolve day to day issues and ensuring timely completion of assignments.
The Job:
• Spend quality time at the sites especially for new contracts. Check log books, registers and write reports. Co-ordinate with the control room regarding the on duty guards situation and act accordingly. Train & motivate the guards by speaking to them on personal level.
• Inform the Operations inspector & Operations Managers about any aberrant guards
• Meet certain contact persons at the sites from time to time and give the feedback
• Focus should be on conduct of patrolling rather than sheer number of sites covered. He must be available to work at static post, if required
• Introduce any reliever / guards to the client before deployment
• Co-ordinate with the operation coordinator with respect to certain requirements that may be sought from the guards.
• Instill a sense of pride among the security personnel towards their company and the duties they carry out.
• Assist in the performance appraisal of the guards for evaluation to the Operations Manager
• Assist in the investigations along with the Operations Inspector / Manager
• Should be able to handle any emergency situation. Inform superiors of the same immediately
• Carry important documents that may be required to be delivered at sites
• Forward problems of the guards to the relevant authorities
• Always keep the Operations Inspector / Manager abreast about his movements
• Adherence to the Quality Management System procedures and its performance
Requirements
• High School/Secondary education certificate
• 5 years work experience in security field or in police or Civil defense(at least 2 years in UAE)
• Age in between 21 to 45 years
• PSBD Supervisor Licensed for 2 years are preferred
• Open to UAE nationals only.
