Job Description

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and expanding strong customer relationships and responding to queries efficiently to ensure the delivery of a high level of service.
• Travel to allocated regions to increase sales and build client relationships.
• Liaising with colleagues and suppliers on the customers’ behalf checking on order progress and communicating any special requirements to ensure that specific order requirements are fulfilled.
• To oversee the transactional processing of a sales order and coordinate the provision of logistic services.
• Follow planned & actual dispatches and monitor progress. At the first indication of potential delays take action to bring orders back on track, keeping customers fully informed.
• Investigate & report on customer complaints as appropriate.
• Preparation of Export documentation.
• To accurately maintain all relevant customer account and product information using internal systems.
• To coordinate the ordering of product samples and to provide product advice to clients.
• Detailed and timely reports of all field trips and distributor actions.
• Provide support in the compiling of existing customer tenders.
• To undertake general administration duties as required.

Requirements

Person specification:

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or Sales Account Manager role
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Good experience with MS office
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solvers
• Methodical
• Willing to travel internationally
