Job description / Role
Objectives: Senior Accountant - Performing day to day accounting function
Main responsibilities:
- The day to day accounting including handling receivables and payables and the relevant journal entries
- Preparing financial entries
- Maintaining general ledger and preparing trial balance. The duties include performing closing entries to present monthly and annual financial and income statement
- Preparing the daily cash and bank position report and performing bank reconciliations
- Controlling and monitoring the weekly payment run
- Preparing and maintaining accounting system and reports, including running the accounting software
- Coordinating with the company’s external auditors
Reporting to: General Manager
Subordinates: Accounting Executive
Other interactions: Operation, Sales and maintenance Department

Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8am- 4pm
Travel requirements: No Travel Requirements
Gross monthly base salary: 6000 AED -7000 AED
Commission / Bonus: Based on performance
Requirements
University Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Accounting
Nature and length of previous experience: 2-4 years
Specialist knowledge: General understanding of accounting software
Soft Skills and Personality traits: Hard Working
Attention to detail
Meticulous
Age Range: 24-30

Language Fluency: Fluent in English - Arabic is a plus
