We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal person would have had at least 5 years of accounting experience, is SAP qualified and has managed a small team. The candidate must be located in Dubai.
Responsibilities include:
Functional and disciplinary leadership of the finance team in Dubai containing following areas of responsibility:
• Finance (Liquidity & receivables management)
• Controlling
• Maintaining financial structures for Dubai MC
• Further development of internal control systems.
• Spokesperson for external auditors
• Regular reporting to the CEO & local partner and to Finance & Controlling in the corporate headquarters.
Requirements
• Completed a Bachelor’s degree, specializing in Finance / Accounting
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a Finance / Accounts position.
• Previous experience of managing a small team
• Previous experience in Real Estate will be an advantage, but it is not a necessity.
• SAP qualified.
• Good written and spoken English, Arabic speaker is preferred but not essential
• Hands on mentality, strong communication skills, team orientation.
• Independent, thorough and deadline-oriented approach combined with high motivation.
