Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

• Provides financial reports & interprets financial information
• Develops trends & projections for firm's finances
• Liaise with relevant banking channels & authorities for the efficient running of the business
• Be responsible for the taxation of the company
• Ensure the framework of risk & compliance including anti-money laundering is set
• Ensure the payroll is processed in a timely manner
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals & objectives, & design a framework for these to be met
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
• Correspond with various other departments & add value to each business division profit Centre & each cost Centre

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Candidates should be based in UAE
• Male candidates preferred
• Must have a Bachelor's/Master degree in Accounting or similar
• Experience in gold/precious metal industry is MANDATORY
• 3-5 years of experience
