JOB DETAILS & SPECIFICATIONS:
Fixed Assets Register:
a. To maintain Fixed Assets of the company.
b. Doing physically verification the Assets every quarter/ half year.
c. Barcoding the additional assets with hotel assistance.
d. Supervise, review and track the addition/ transfer/ retirement in the hotel through Assets register.
e. Reconciling the Owning Company’s Fixed Assets Register periodically with physical verification done.
f. Periodical reporting to the management for the variance in the Assets register and physical verification.
Accounting and Audits:
a. To posting Journal Entries in the system, maintaining and updating Income Statement, Financial Statements adhering to Accounting standards periodically.
b. To maintain, update and collect Account Receivable and issue Invoices.
c. To maintain, manage and process payments/ transfer for Account payable of the company in a timely manner.
d. To do reconciliations with Banks, group companies and third parties at year end and resolve the reconciliation items, if any.
e. To assist for annual close of the year and year-end consolidation for annual audits.
f. To remain updated with the laws and regulation of United Arab Emirates including but not limited to VAT laws from FTA, DED, DM etc. for compliance purposes with respect to Accounting and Finance.
g. To receive, review, consolidate VAT Tax Group hotel, file and pay VAT in timely manner.
Reporting to management:
a. To timely process Daily Revenue report received from the hotel, review for accuracy and consistency, consolidate and share with management.
b. To receive periodical reports as and when asked for and in routine from hotels, review them for accuracy and Consolidate in a logical and presentable manner and submit to management.
c. To consolidate Monthly P&L receive from the hotels in a comparable and uniform format and report accordingly.
a. MBA Finance or Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
b. Previous working experience in hotel industry and (Accounts division) for 5 years in similar role.
c. Good analytical, organizational and communication skill.
d. Working knowledge of system/ MS Office/ understanding of accounting packages.
