Job description / Role
• Preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger
• Produce monthly financial reports for management reporting
• Prepare and file quarterly VAT Returns
• Prepare quarterly forecast
• Ensure that accounting records are properly maintained in the database
• Analyze the financial statements for any discrepancies and issues
• Handle the annual audit and ensure that the audit will be completed as scheduled
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and GAAP) and accounting procedures
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in accounting
• Strong Knowledge of UAE VAT regulation
• Proficient User of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills
• Must have own visa
