Salary range: Rs 720000 - Rs 960000 (ie INR 7.2-9.6 LPA)
Location: Dubai

As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to financial compliance standards. You’ll oversee ledger management, VAT filings, month-end closures, and prepare management reports that support business decision-making. The role also requires coordination with auditors, banks, and senior management while supervising junior accountants to maintain high-quality financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site position offering stability, professional growth, and exposure to international trading practices.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

• Manage full accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing summaries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and internal departments for smooth financial operations.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy in daily financial tasks.
• Maintain inventory records and verify all financial transactions for correctness.
• Support process improvement and contribute to financial planning and budgeting activities.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior role within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance, accounting standards, and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting software with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team management skills with a proactive and reliable approach.
• Candidates currently residing in Dubai will be preferred.
• Familiarity with Gujarati language and culture will be an added advantage.
