Salary range: Rs 720000 - Rs 960000 (ie INR 7.2-9.6 LPA)
Min experience: 5 years
Location: Dubai
Job type: full-time

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the complete accounting cycle — from entries and reconciliations to financial reporting and compliance. The role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership capability, and a thorough understanding of UAE financial laws and VAT regulations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards, while mentoring junior accountants and collaborating with management and auditors.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts finalisation, VAT filings, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports, month-end closures, and management summaries.
• Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy across accounting functions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders for audits and reviews.
• Maintain detailed inventory and transaction records.
• Ensure timeliness and precision in all financial processes.

What makes you a great fit

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior role within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Strong expertise in ERP/accounting software and UAE VAT compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to manage and guide junior team members effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Currently based in Dubai and familiar with local compliance norms.
