Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who is passionate about financial accuracy and compliance, and who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
