Roles & Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, including Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations, including:
o Fixed Assets
o Bank Accounts
o Accounts Receivable & Payable
o Prepayments, Accruals
o Intercompany balances

• Manage and reconcile accounts receivable and payable by coordinating with customers and suppliers, and prepare aging reports.
• Calculate VAT liabilities in accordance with UAE VAT Law and submit VAT returns via the FTA portal.
• Liaise effectively with clients while working on audit and accounting engagements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Reporting Manager and Management.
• Participate in the planning and execution of external audit engagements.
• Take overall responsibility for completing audits in line with the firm’s audit methodologies and standards.
• Keep senior team members informed of significant issues, developments, and engagement progress.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Prepare audit reports and management letters.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial statements.
• Attend stock counts when required.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by Management.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ACCA / CPA / CA (Fully or Partly Qualified) – Preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm – Preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision

Salary:
AED 5,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
