Key responsibilities
1. Strategy
Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and the client relationship and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks.
2. Leadership and people management
Be responsible for the delivery of work with the right level of quality and timeliness for Tier 1-2 clients.
Provide training and guidance to team members focusing on task performance.
3. Operations
Be the onboarding specialist, obtaining information from other teams or client, if required.
Ensure appropriate controls, policies and processes are adhered to.
Identify areas for improvement in policies, processes, procedures and systems.
Implement changes to procedures and guidelines, when applicable.
Coordinate reviews, billing and other internal controls to ensure that they are conducted and observed.
Collaborate and share knowledge and expertise across service lines and other TMF offices on specific deals.
Support the implementation and updating of systems.
Escalate technical issues and knowledge gaps, where required.
4. Client service
Build, develop and maintain relationships with clients and auditors as appropriate and as assigned within the portfolio, building a first-rate professional relationship with assigned clients acting as a secondary point of contact.
Ensure the delivery of services in accordance with each client engagement letter.
Attend client meetings, as required.
Share relevant information and updates with clients.
Oversee completion of know your client procedures for all assigned clients.
5. Team-based responsibilities
Coordinate with the onboarding of new clients.
Process accounting and tax associated work for Tier 2 clients.
Review, test and reconcile the work and data received from accountants for Tier 1 clients.
Assist with the coordination and preparation of monthly and annual trackers.
Perform any other reasonable assignment requested by management.
Personal utilization of 85% - whereby 85% of hours are aligned to client work and service delivery.

Key knowledge and experience
- Has completed accountancy degree.
- At least 4 years relevant experience gained from sizable CPA firm or multinational company; plus tax experience gained in major international professional firms is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of international accounting practices (IFRS) and key updates.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude.
- Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Focus, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP and other key accounting software is a differential.
- Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic will be an advantage.
- Other characteristics: reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
