Senior Accountant - Arabic

Position Title: Arabic Senior Accountant
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 8K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualification
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:
A multi -awarded Energy Solution provider group, based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, with proven capabilities in meeting energy needs for power plants, erection and installation of towers, and major power projects within GCC.

Job Description:
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile journal entries in the system and ensure accuracy of data
• Prepare timely and accurate internal and external accounting and reporting deliverables
• Record transactions to the GL through ODOO systems (Accounting, Inventory, Payroll Module)
• Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations for both balance sheet and income statement accounts to provide supporting information for the monthly / quarterly / yearly financial GAAP and statutory financial statements
• Prepare fixed asset reconciliations on a periodic basis to ensure all fixed asset balances are accurate.
• Prepare various variance reports, review of ageing payable and open PO reports, and provide analysis to the Finance Manager as and when requested.
• Record fixed assets in the system and update the Fixed Asset Register

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Open to Arab nationals
• 40 years old and below
• Must have at least 6 years total experience in Accounting within GCC
• Must have experience in producing financial statements, B.S and MIS reporting
• Strong experience in ERP system, knowledge in ODOO system will be an added advantage
• Immediate joiners will be prioritized
