ROLE
Senior Accounts payable officer

REPORTING LINE
• Accounts payable manager/ Group Finance Manager

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
• Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, trust account etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying vendors and internal disbursement request; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Continuing to improve the payment process

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS + PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Accounting qualification
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a progressive accounting field
• Specialised in Account payable role
• Team player
• Proficient in excel
• Accuracy to details
• Fluent in English
