Employment: Full Time

DGCX, a subsidiary of DMCC, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Compliance Department. We are looking for a candidate who will assist the team in managing all the regulatory compliance issues faced by a derivatives exchange and clearing house. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant work experience and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities
• Carry out due diligence of potential and existing Member firms.
• Assist in development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure Members comply with the ongoing obligations including submissions to the Exchange and regulators, take Member calls and provide feedback and training to Member compliance officers on compliance issues.
• Undertake on-going member surveillance measures, identify breaches, and conduct follow-up investigations.
• Manage regulatory licensing applications to obtain necessary approval and communicate with the regulator on an on-going basis.
• Participate in periodic examination of Member firms, compile observations and prepare reports.
• Support the implementation of the AML Policy, including conducting requisite KYC checks during Member on-boarding, on-going surveillance, training of Member compliance teams, and in-house AML training for staff.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements as stipulated under FATCA and Common Reporting Standard.
• Provide support to the Head of Compliance and Director of Compliance on any and all compliance issues.

Requirements

• 4 - 7 years of experience in the Compliance department of an international financial institution.
• Experience in capital markets, futures/options markets, or a commodities market highly desirable.
• Experience in Compliance and AML required.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English required.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in working with financial regulators and reviewing regulation.
• Minimum qualifications shall be a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, management or law.
