Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Performance

Charterhouse are actively engaging with a leading international operator, within their Dubai regional office, to identify a Financial Planning & Performance Analyst within their regional centralised hub.
This role shall be geared towards the controllership and financial analysis across the full business operation, product lines and regional markets within their scope of coverage. The Senior Analyst shall take ownership across the management of P&L production, month-end close and any consolidation along with an oversight of budget and variance analysis which also combines an input to the group planning and forecasting cycles.
From an accounting standpoint, this role shall also have oversight of areas of statutory reporting, across the balance sheet, whilst also overseeing areas of receivables, cash flow management and acting as a liaison point for any external audit, risk governance and taxation matters.
Finally, this Senior Analyst shall also be responsible for the production of MIS and management-based reports across areas of cash-flow management, external reporting and any regulatory filings.
The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) profile or a candidate coming from an MBA-type background. All applicants shall be required to present robust accounting and financial management skills; with a strong insight to commercial finance and/or business support functions.
In conjunction, the client will look for candidates whom are able to demonstrate strong and advanced skills within Excel and Hyperion as the consolidation tool. This extends to being able to develop financial models for both planning and reporting-based objectives. The client will also look for candidates whom are able to present strong communication and presentation skills; in the support of senior management reporting lines and stakeholders.
