Job overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Analyst-SAP Functional (FICO) to join our team. As a Sr. Analyst-SAP Functional (FICO), you will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP FICO modules and supporting business processes. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP FICO solutions.


Requirements:

  • Lead, direct and manage matrix and/or direct project team resources to accomplish project objectives on time, within budget and meeting expectations of the project stakeholder.
  • Work with project internal and external project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Should have managed projects for 7-10 years and should have exposure to change management.
  • Strong coordination and cross team collaboration skills.
  • Take complete ownership of implementation, further enhancement and support in the area of SAP FI/CO, PS, PP and SD.

The following key knowledge areas in the area of SAP FI/CO have to be covered:

  • General ledger accounting process and configuration.
  • Accounts payable accounting process and configuration.
  • Accounts receivable process and configuration.
  • Cheque management process and configuration.
  • Petty cash management process and configuration.
  • Bank accounting and BRS process and configuration.
  • Asset accounting process and configuration.
  • Cost center accounting process and configuration.
  • Profit center account process and configuration.
  • Management reporting process and configuration.
  • Process integration and configuration knowledge in the area of MM, PS, PM, ETM and HCM.
  • Project cash flow management / cash flow management.
  • Bank – electronic transfer.
  • Profit center accounting.
  • Liquidity management.

The following key knowledge areas in the area of SAP PS have to be covered:

  • Create templates/WBS.
  • Create project.
  • Project planning and project / cost estimation (e.g. easy cost planning).
  • Budgeting and release.
  • Project implementation.
  • Project completion.
  • Building PS report via report painter or builder.
  • Integration into other modules FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM.

The following key knowledge areas in the area of SAP PP have to be covered:

  • PP master data: material master, BOM, work center, routing, product version.
  • Material requirement planning (MRP).
  • Bill of materials (BOM).
  • Capacity planning (CP).
  • Supply chain planning (SCP).
  • Production lifecycle with planning, execution.
  • Demand management.
  • Capacity planning and levelling.
  • Production orders and production order confirmation.
  • Integration into other modules FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM.

The following key knowledge areas in the area of SAP SD have to be covered:

  • Support SAP RAR - SAP revenue accounting and reporting.
  • Master data (SD-MD) tracks each transaction that affects the SD module's data, including customer data, materials data, price condition records, and credit management.
  • Basic functions (SD-BF) allows you to establish the basic functions that work across SD, such as pricing, goods availability check and credit management.
  • Sales (SD-SLS) handles the details of the sales process, such as customer data, products, pricing and feedback.
  • Shipping (SD-SHP) tracks the details of the shipping process, including when and how the order is shipped through to delivery or return.
  • Transportation (SD-TBA) works closely with SD-SHP and keeps track of all the transportation data involved in the shipment.
  • Foreign trade (SD-FTT) handles the details related to foreign trade transactions, including both exports and imports.
  • Billing (SD-BIL) manages billing data, including the amounts of the transactions and methods of payment.
  • Sales support (SD-CAS) handles the data generated in the interactions between customers and sales teams.
  • Manage master data structures, transactional data, implemented functions and components, user roles and authorization and applicable interfaces.
  • Oversee documentation of future business requirements and defining suitable application solutions in alignment with EO’s organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead implementation and improvement in the area of projects as well as support the SAP system improvements related to above mentioned modules throughout the entire lifecycle of the application starting with project preparation, to creation of blueprint, to realization, final preparation and go live and support.
  • Design SAP non-standard developments and applications e.g. interfaces and additional finance processes related to the construction industry.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in defining functional requirements and providing functional solutions.
  • Undertake preparation of master data and extraction of transactional data from various systems, define user roles and authorizations, develop report layouts and create end user documentation and training curriculum.
  • Work with the concerned stakeholders to conduct end user training.
  • Manage and provide primary support to affected business parties in the resolution of issues related to finance, cost controlling.
  • Work on additional SAP functional applications as assigned in addition to the core SAP applications.
  • Actively participate in the complete development lifecycle of all applicable projects related to assigned core SAP functional application including requirements gathering, analysis and recommendations, solution design, implementation, testing and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures and EO guidelines and quality standards.

Additional responsibilities – others:

In addition to the above, the Manager – Business Applications – (Shared Services) should also support the below mentioned activities whenever needed and applicable in his/her area of expertise.

  • Proposing and researching IT business solutions which will meet the requirements of EO departments.
  • Initiation, facilitating and managing proof of concept (POC) of IT solutions.
  • Creation of business case documents with required information related to benefits, objectives, solution design, implementation approach, cost, timelines and investment justification (ROI).
  • Writing and reviewing technical scope of work documents related to the procurement of software solutions.
  • Technical evaluation / comparison of proposed IT solutions / equipment during procurement process or in the earlier stages during the identification of suitable IT solutions (software / hardware).
  • Clearly responsible within their functional areas of expertise and act in the wider context and interests BS-IT for example, contribution to the development and delivery of overall strategy.
