Senior Architect (Revit / Rhino)

Our Globally renowned Architectural Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Architect to join their team in Dubai, UAE to work on high profile and iconic new build projects in the Emirates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion. This is an opportunity for a proactive and technically skilled individual to make a lasting impact on high-profile international projects, working within a BIM-led (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper) environment and contributing to the evolution of innovative and sustainable design solutions. Candidates must have worked for recognised Design Consultancy companies previously

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documentation.
• Revit & Parametric Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Revit, Rhinoceros and Grasshopper, utilizing its full capabilities to create detailed and accurate building models and construction drawings.
• Technical Detailing: Develop and oversee the production of complex technical details, ensuring they are constructible and meet project requirements.
• Building Codes & Regulations: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Dubai.
• Coordination: Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff, fostering their technical development and knowledge.
• Site Support: Provide technical support to the site team during the construction phase, addressing any technical queries or issues.

Senior Architect Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor s Degree in Architecture. MSc preferred
• A minimum of 8 years postgraduate experience in Architecture with a key focus on iconic regional projects in the UAE and Middle East.
• Proficient in architectural design and detailing with over 5 years of experience in BIM-based workflows.
• Proven background and track record in well regarded and high profile design consultancy companies
• Expert knowledge of Revit, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization software
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building materials, and architectural principles.
• Knowledge of structural, mechanical and electrical engineering and how they relate to design coordination and building cost.
• Skilled in preparing comprehensive construction documentation and specifications in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong conceptual and technical design abilities, with a discerning and sophisticated eye for detail.
• High levels of creativity and imagination, combined with a deep understanding of the built environment.
