Senior Area Manager - Retail

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Area Manager to join a dynamic and growing sports retail business in the UAE. As the Senior Area Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing store performance across a designated area, working closely with the Retail Director and directly overseeing the Cluster Store Manager. Your focus will be to inspire high-performing teams, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and achieve financial objectives, all while upholding brand standards and service excellence. This is a hands-on role that requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Drive Sales & Performance: Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to achieve or exceed sales, KPIs, and profitability targets for all stores within your area.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop top talent, ensuring effective succession planning. Inspire and motivate store managers and their teams to deliver outstanding results and maintain a positive work culture.
- Customer Excellence: Guarantee consistently high standards of customer experience, aligning with the brand’s values and service standards.
- Business Analysis: Analyse business performance, customer profiles, and buying trends across stores to identify opportunities for growth and respond with strategic initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, maintain optimal store presentation, and ensure payroll and operating expenses remain within budget.
- Visual & Brand Integrity: Ensure that all stores adhere to the brand’s visual guidelines, creating an engaging, on-brand shopping experience across your area.
- Project Management: Lead new store openings, relocations, and store closures, while organizing and managing marketing events to promote brand engagement and sales.
- Loss Prevention: Oversee and reinforce loss prevention policies through training, awareness, and compliance, ensuring risk is managed effectively.

- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in a similar management role within a customer service-oriented retail environment (apparel or footwear experience is a plus).
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in building, developing, and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Results-Oriented: Strong history of exceeding sales and KPI targets while staying within budget.
- Communication & Organizational Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to present ideas to diverse audiences, plan strategically, and manage time efficiently.
- Commercial Mindset: Highly motivated with a keen sense of business acumen, and a proactive approach to creating innovative sales opportunities.

Salary:
AED 22,000 to 23,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
