Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-established professional services organisation who are looking to hire Arabic speaking Audit Seniors to join their expanding Audit team in their Abu Dhabi office.
As the Senior Associate you will report to the Audit Manager and Partner whilst running client engagements. This role will include planning, executing and directing complete financial audits as well as managing budgets.
You will be required to attend professional development and training sessions on an ongoing basis, travel to various client sites and actively take part in audit planning discussions. In addition, you will oversee aspects of audit fieldwork and completion whilst being a key client contact. You will be assisting Partners and Senior Management on proposals and business development whilst gaining understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a fully qualified ACA/CA/ACCA, Arabic speaking professional and have at least 5 years’ experience in complex audits for a reputable audit firm or equivalent experience with a “Big 4” accounting firm. You should have strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in IFRS. Candidates should be able to demonstrate exceptional client service and communication skills and have the ability to manage client engagements and competing priorities.
