As a senior associate, you'll dive into planning, directing, completing audits, reviewing financial statements, and related technical accounting services while supervising junior colleagues. About the external audit service line

Responsibilities

• Running client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, directing, and reporting
• Preparing or reviewing work papers and drafts of the financial statements
• Producing client deliverables, specifically drafting reports for management review
• Taking part in audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and devise an appropriate audit strategy
• Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on the audit process
• Utilizing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and data visualizations
• Proactively engaging with clients while offering strategic recommendations for improvement
• Staying acquainted with industry trends through regular professional development activities

Requirements

Think you've got what it takes to be an audit senior associate? Like the colour purple? Great. Here are a few more boxes we're hoping you can tick:

• 3-4 years of external audit experience in a top international firm
• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• Strong experience auditing insurance companies
• Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft Office
• Strong technical accounting skills, confident in IFRS
• Experience with group audits is key to success
• Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
• Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed
