Senior Back End Developer

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client, an IT Solutions company, we are seeking a Senior Back End Developer.

• The Senior Back End Developer will be responsible for all back end issues and resolutions. Troubleshooting issues in production; API design and documentation using tools like Swagger; web server configurations (Linux and windows based) and User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments are some of the responsibilities of the Senior Back End Developer.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development
• 4+ Experience with these programming languages: C++, C#, JS(NodeJS), Java is a plus
• Experience in writing RESTful Api using C#, NodeJs.
• 5+ SQL and NoSQL experience (Mysql/Mariadb, Couchdb, MongoDB, MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Strong Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS)
• Knowledge of deployment tools
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git/SVN/Mercurial)
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Excellent communication skills
