Job description / Role
The Back-End Software Engineer should be an analytical, results-driven, with specialization in Back-End Payments. You will design, develop, and continuously improve Back-End applications and processes.
You will use their understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze payment industry developments, formulate efficient payment processes, solve problems, and create a seamless experience for users.
Requirements
- 5+ years' industry experience
- Experience or desire to work in a start-up environment with design, product, and data science partners
- Passion for delivering products end-to-end, from ideation through planning and scoping to implementation and experimental A/B testing
- Experience in any of the following: Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, Scala, Python/Django, React
- Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application, such as well-designed APIs, scalable and reliable services, high volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms
- Experience or desire to work in a start-up environment with design, product, and data science partners
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win
- Self-motivation to deliver results and seek continuous improvement
